Blind Granny Catch Giant Catfish

Blindness is not an obstacle for a 56-year-old grandmother to fishing. The grandmother managed to catch catfish, 2.5 meters long. While on vacation in Barcelona, Sheila Penfold spent his time to fishing on the Ebro river with her husband Alan, and her son Arthur.



After waiting 30 minutes, Penfold patience finally avenged. She catched a giant catfish, 2.5 meters long and weighing 97 Kilogram. When trying to catch, the old woman almost fell into a river. Fortunately, the husband who kept to her side managed to help to pull off the fish.

"Tired indeed, but look, it's a big fish," says Sheila.

Sheila's husband was not the only who has help to pull off the fish, his son Arthur and two friends who accompanied also helped. A total of five people has pulled the giant fish. The Telegraph, Wednesday (20/1/2010).

We are telling the amazing, Penfold admitted she realized the size of fish when seen up close. That's because she did have a lack of vision, but according to the medical side, she's definitely blind.

Thus, Penfold set a record as the first British woman who catch the largest freshwater fish in the world. Penfold is also break a similar record in count of Spain.
